Header section

Here we have new sections:

  • Alerts
  • Wishlist
  • Book mark

Alerts: This section lists the Classes/Learning Path/Certification which requires learner’s attention

Wishlist: This section lists the Courses/Learning Path/Certification that the learner has added to the wishlist from the catalog section

Bookmark: This section lists the Classes, Content, Certifications/Learning Paths that the learner has bookmarked

The second icon from the left is the ‘Announcement’  icon, which we currently display at the My learning section of E1.

Sticky Header

This section lists the Classes/Learning Path/Certification, which is mandatory / Compliance training that requires immediate learner’s attention. This is displayed at the top of the page.

Admin Icon

This icon will be displayed if the signed-in user has more than one role to be performed, apart from the learner. Click on the Admin Icon will bring a drop-down with the role name (Manager, Instructor)

Help Icon

  • Help Icon will be a part of the fixed header section and is displayed next to the profile picture.
  • It is a floater icon and can be dragged and dropped in any of the highlighted sections to know more in detail.
  • As the learner drags the help icon, hotspots in the help available sections will be activated, which are beeping Icons.
  • Learners may drop on any hotspot in that section and view the help text for the same. Click on the close icon(X), to close the help text pop up.

My Learning Target (JAN – DEC): The learner can enter the target learning hours, which is set from Jan – Dec. The value entered here will be compared with the actual learning hours completed in the graphical presentation in the Learner Engagement console

Learner Engagement Console/Banner

The Learner engagement console displays the following sections:

  1. My learning hours (for the current year – Jan to Dec)

The graph displays the learning hours till the current month of the calendar year.

  1. Items need attention (At the point of time)

Each section of the pie chart represents the sections in Items need attention

  1. Courses in your Wish list
  • The outer circle denotes the total number of courses the learner has added to the wishlist
  • The second circle from outer denotes the total number of courses the learner has enrolled out of the total wish listed courses
  • The third circle from the outer denotes the total number of courses the learner has completed out of the total wish listed courses

Dashboard section

Items need attention

This section lists the Classes /Certifications /Learning Paths enrolled/completed by the learner which requires immediate action by the learner.

Learning Path / Certification

Certification/Learning Path tab displays the details of the below sections in Masonry View:

  • Expired
  • To-Complete
  • Pending
  • Completed

Certificates, which are about to expire, will be displayed in the Completed tab.

Learning Path/Certification for which payment is pending is displayed under this section.

RECERTIFY Icon will be displayed in the Completed and Expired tab.

To view Cancelled Learning Path or canceled Certification, the link at the top right of the respective tabs is displayed as “View canceled learning Path” and a link “View canceled certification”

Bookmarks for reference

This section lists all the Classes, Contents, Certifications and Learning Paths bookmarked by the learner.

Learning Statistics

Learning Statistics has two sections:

  1. Learning stats (Current Year)
  2. Learning stats (Over All)

Clicking on any of the “Pie” sections will display a detailed Pie chart of that section.

Learning History

The learner can find the complete list of enrolled Courses, Certifications, and Learning Paths, and the status under this “Learning History” section.

Learning Playlist

Learners can create a playlist from the content player and can also add content to the existing playlist.

My profile

In my profile section, we have new additions:

  • Interest
  • Work Experience
  • Education

In the Profile Dashboard section, we display ‘Awards’ earned by the learners

Other Users:

Other users list is displayed below the ‘My Profile’ section where the learner can view other learner’s profiles within their organization.

Learners can search other users based on the following drop-down selection within their organization:

  • Username
  • Job Role
  • Manager

Learning Profile Dashboard:

Learner rewards are displayed in the form of points, transcripts, awards, and badges based on the learner’s engagement in LXP.

Details Page

Course details page

Course Details Page contains the following 4 panels

  • Panel 1: Course Information
  • Panel 2: Enrolled Class Details
  • Panel 3: All active/future classes
  • Panel 4: Pre-Requisite and Equivalence Courses

Panel 1: Course Information

The Course Details page can be accessed by clicking the course title or Enroll icon or more icons on the respective courses listed in the catalog section. The course details page displays the complete information of available classes and can be viewed by both signed-in and anonymous learners to enroll.

Language: Multi will be displayed, if there are classes offered have multiple languages

Author / Vendor: Displays the Author / Vendor of the Course to be contacted for queries related to the course

Panel 2: Enrolled Class Details

The enrolled class panel will list the classes the learner has enrolled in along with the progress for each class.

Re-Enroll Icon: By clicking re-enroll, the learner can enroll again for another class within the same course. In the case of e-Learning and Video/Audio classes, the learner can enroll for the same class provided previous enrollment is completed and there are no attempts left.

Panel 3: All active/future classes

This is the Panel that will be displayed upon clicking the course title or Enroll icon or more icons on the respective courses listed in the catalog section.

Learners can enroll in any of the classes by selecting the radio button next to the class and clicking the Enroll button.

Calendar view for Attend In-person and Virtual Class

If there are more than five Attend In-Person/Attend Remote the calendar view will be displayed by default.

If the number of classes for Attend In Remote and Attend In-Person classes are greater than five, then the Calendar view will be displayed.

Panel 4: Pre-Requisite and Equivalence Courses

In case, there is a pre-requisite or an equivalent Course available, on clicking the ENROLL Icon in Panel 3, the learner will be navigated to the respective section

Learning Path details Page (Module view & Tree view)

There are three panels available on the Learning Path details page:

  1. Training Details Panel
  2. Course Module Panel
  3. Prerequisite and Equivalence Panel

Training Details Panel

This Panel displays the full information about the Learning Path

Course Module Panel

The courses attached in the learning path can be viewed in two views; module view and tree view. The learner can switch between the module view and tree view by clicking ‘Switch to Module view / Switch to Tree view’ on the top left corner of the course module panel. The mandatory courses get displayed first followed by optional courses.

Module View:

In module view, it will group the courses under each module and the learner can complete all the courses from the specified module path.

Tree View:

In the tree view, it will group the courses under the modules and display them in the form of a hierarchy.

By clicking on the module it will expand with the list of courses and by clicking the courses it will expand with a list of classes in the courses.

What is changed

Here we talk about on how the features and functionalities are currently in E1 and how they get displayed in LXP

The four E1 tabs of HOME | CATALOG | PROFILE | MY LEARNING are displayed in a

Single page UI, So Instead of the Multi tabs display in E1, here in LXP we have a single page display

Banner

The Learner engagement console, If enabled, is the one which gets displayed as the first banner .The banner as in E1 has got forward and back arrows, upon click will display the other banners.

My learning Section

Here we have three tabs, to display ‘To-Complete’, ‘Completed’ classes and an ‘All’ tab which displays all the Classes.Clicking on “More” Icon will display the full details about the Class and its related Course.

To-Complete tab:

  • ‘To-Complete’ section lists the classes that the learner has enrolled in.
  • Classes that are nearing the start date or completion due date will be shown first.
  • This also includes the classes that the learner has enrolled as part of a ‘Learning Path’. Any urgent action about the class that requires your attention will be displayed in the image as a criticality indicator.

Sorting order of display of To-Complete classes is as mentioned below

  • Sort by ascending due date

Due date is Complete by date / Class start date

  • If there is no due date, then
  • Sorting is based on the registration date in descending order
  • For Certifications & Learning Path that have due date,

Classes inherits the respective parent due date for sorting order

There are 3 display modes in To-Complete tab,

  • Grid view – Front view & Flip view
  • List view
  • Calendar view

The learner may switch to list, Grid view, calendar view by clicking on the respective option available at the right corner of the ‘My Learning’ section.

  • Grid view – Front view

The following details gets displayed in the Grid view – Front view

Class title

Class delivery type

Class Progress tracker

Launch Icon

Completion date

Icon denotes that the class is part of a standalone course

  • Grid view – Flip view

On mouse hover of the front view of the Grid section, the Grid gets flipped.

More icon– By clicking on the ‘More’ Icon will take you to the details page for the class.

In case, there are multiple sessions to be a class, It will be denoted by a red dot above the calendar Icon as displayed in the second Grid.

  • List view

All the classes will be listed in list view.

After the display of four rows, the “LOAD MORE” option will be displayed.

  • Calendar view

This view shows the future classes enrolled by the learner and calendar date is highlighted based on the start date of the class

  • ‘To-Complete’ calendar view displays learner’s scheduled ‘Attend-In Person’ and ‘Attend-Remote’ classes from the current day onwards.
  • Clicking on calendar view will highlight the first available class in a month view format.
  • Clicking on that date will display all the class/session details for that day in a grid view on the right.
  • The image displayed in a grid, flips when you mouse hover on it and on the flip side of the image, you can click on the action icons.
  • Hovering the mouse on the icons will display a tooltip of all the action you can take. Click on the left (<) or right (>) arrows, you will be able to navigate to see the next or previous class in the calendar.

Completed tab:

  • Completed tab will list only the Completed Classes.
  • Expired classes will also be shown in this tab.

Sorting order of display of Completed classes is as mentioned below

  • If Expiry date available, then
    • Sorting is based on Expiry date in ascending order
  • If No Expiry date is available, then
    • Sorting based on the completion date in ascending order
  • For classes in a Certification/Learning Path – All the classes will be grouped together based on the latest class completion date or expiry date.
  • ‘Completed’ grid section lists the classes that you have completed.
  • Classes nearing expiry will be shown first in the list, followed by the recently completed classes.
  • This also includes the completed classes which is part of your enrolled ‘Learning Paths’. The image flips when you mouse hover on it and on the flip side of the image, you can perform the actions that are available.
  • Tooltips for each icon are available for you to take appropriate actions. Clicking on the left (<) or right arrow (>) icons will navigate within the grid view.

All tab:

‘All’ tab lists all the classes which the learner has enrolled/completed/pending/failed and canceled.The learner can view all the class which are grouped based on the status of learners enrollment as mentioned below:

To-Complete – List the classes which are enrolled by the learner which are nearing the start date or completion due date will be displayed first.

Completed – List the classes which are nearing expiry will be shown first in the list followed by the recently completed classes.

Pending – List the classes for which payment approval is pending is displayed here.

Incomplete – List the classes which the learner has failed to complete.

Canceled – List the classes which are canceled by either the admin or the learner.

Learning Path / Certifications in My Learning : Classes which are a part of the Learning Path / Certifications will be denoted by the Icons.

Only classes are displayed in My learning.

Icon displayed denotes that the class is part of a Learning Path.

Icon displayed denotes that the class is part of a Certification.

  • Classes which are part of the Learning Path / Certifications of My Programs of E1 will be displayed in My learning
  • Clicking on the MORE Icon for each Class navigates to the respective details Page, which displays the entire Course / Learning Parth / Certification details

Catalog Section

  • The Catalog section has two modes of display, List view and Masonry view, where in E1 we have only the List view.
  • The catalog section will list all the training where the learner can enroll.
  • The default view of the catalog is masonry view and the learner can switch to list view by clicking an list icon at top right corner of the catalog section.
  • In the Catalog section we have the tabs All, Wishlist, Categories and Tag Cloud.
  • The ‘All’ tab is a collective display of all training.
  • ‘All’ tab in the catalog will list all active training which the learner can enroll in.
  • Click on Training title, Image, Enroll Icon and More Icon will navigate to the details Page.
  • Learners can enroll only from the details page

Enroll Icon – The enroll icon is available for free training and when a learner clicks on the enroll button, it will redirect to the training details page with a list of available classes to choose and enroll.

Add to Cart – Add to cart icon will be displayed for priced trainings, when the learner clicks the add to cart, it will redirect to the details page with the list of classes the learner can choose to purchase and enroll for it.

Training Title: For Courses / Learning Path/ Certification, the title will be displayed in a single line followed by more Icon dots.

Training description:For Courses / Learning Path/ Certification, the description will be displayed in three lines followed by more Icon dots.

MY ACCOUNT –> Details section

In this Section, Upon edit of any the sub sections, by enabling “Show to All” will display the details to other learners when they view your profile.
