Within ExpertusONE, the admin has the option to create a Course as either a Single Instance or a Multiple Instance, depending on the scenarios outlined below:

Scenario 01: Single Instance Course

Description: A single-instance course contains all details, including content, within one instance, designed exclusively for E-Learning delivery.

Use Case: Ideal for E-Learning training.

Note: Single-instance courses can be converted to multiple-instance courses, but not vice versa.

Scenario 02: Multiple Instance Course

Description: The course acts as a container for core details, inherited by multiple instances or classes, with flexibility for modifications.

Use Case:

  • Courses offered in multiple languages.
  • Courses with different delivery types (e.g., WBT, Classroom, Virtual Class).
  • Courses conducted in different locations or time zones.
Note: Once you select a Course as Multiple-Instance, you cannot change it to a Single-Instance, but from a Single-Instance you can change it to a Multiple-Instance Course.
